Founded 1950, it is the oldest club in Hertfordshire. About 50 members including juniors. Outdoor venue at Lockharts Field, Cow Roast. Indoor venue at Chiltern Archery, Buckland Village. Runs a beginners' course each summer starting mid-May.

Bishops Stortford Stortford Archery Club
Originally founded in the mid-sixties, it was reformed in 1973. About 65 members including juniors. Outdoor and indoor venues at St. Mary's Catholic School, Bishops Stortford. Runs 2 beginners courses per year in January and June.

Buckland (near Tring) Chiltern Archers
Founded in 2003. Including Chiltern Archers Junior Club. About 150 members. Supporting Recurve, Compound and all types of traditional bows in Target Archery. Outdoor and indoor facilities at The Chiltern Archery Centre, Buckland Village, near Aston Clinton and Tring (HP22 5HZ). Outdoor shooting up to 100m available 9am-9pm every day of the year. Indoors Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings between 6 and 9 as well as Sunday mornings 10 till 1. Juniors have priority on Wednesdays between 5pm and 7pm. Beginners' courses run throughout the year.

Edlesborough (near Tring) Beacon Archers
Founded in 2007. Open to all with about 20 members including juniors. Outdoor venue at 4 & 5 Barleyfields, Sparrow Hill Farm, Leighton Road, Edlesborough. Indoors: Thursday Evenings, juniors only 5:30 to 6:30 seniors 6:30 to 9:30 at The Coltsloe School, Aylesbury Road, Wing, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 0NY.

Hemel Hempstead Silver Arrow Archers
Founded in 2009. It is the newest club in Hertfordshire. Supporting Longbow, Recurve and Compound archers. Outdoor venue at Longdean School, Hemel Hempstead. Tuesday and Thursday evenings through the Summer. Indoors: Thursday Evenings during the winter at, Adeyfield School, Hemel Hempstead. Guests welcome.

Founded in 1973. About 65 members including juniors. Outdoor and Indoor venue at Haileybury College, Hertford Heath. At present, only able to offer 'Taste of Archery' sessions without any promise of membership.

Founded in 1999. Now has about 50 members including juniors. Outdoor and indoor venues in Hinxworth. Runs a beginners course once a year, usually starting in April.

Rickmansworth Ricky Archers
Club provides target archery for adults and children from age 10. About 60 members including juniors. Outdoor venue at Rickmansworth Cricket & Sports Club. Indoor venue at Queens School, Aldenham Road, Bushey. Beginners' course starts in April.
